Community Highlights: A Season of Connection and Growth
Members of The Reserve gathered in March for “Savor the Experience,” a special culinary event that offered a glimpse into the expo kitchen concept, a key feature being designed for Goodwin House Seminary Road. Goodwin Living Culinary Innovation & Development Chef, Brian Patterson, prepared a delicious ratatouille while sharing the inspiration and intention behind our dining program. Guests enjoyed Virginia wines and the opportunity to connect with one another over a shared appreciation for food and conversation. We all enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy a warm and engaging afternoon that brought future neighbors together around the table.
In April, we hosted our first meeting of The Reserve Book Club, as well as our “Rooted Together: Earth Day Tea” event. At our Earth Day Tea, we celebrated the Urban Arboretum vision for Goodwin House Seminary Road. Goodwin Living Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, Lindsay Hutter, joined us to share the intention behind weaving biophilic design elements throughout the campus, both inside and out. Through a nature-inspired tea setting, we explored elements of biophilic design while enjoying a cup of tea and a selection of treats together.
